About the Founder
As the Founder and Certified Executive Coach, Layne Mielke helps highly skilled and specialized professionals reach new heights as she helps them gain the skills and acumen that they have not focused on before.
She has a willingness to help, share knowledge, and problem-solve. Her experiences in research, consulting, program management, and entrepreneurship allow her to view situations from many different perspectives, which helps her clients do the same. She has served hundreds of senior leaders of Fortune 500 companies, US Military leaders, small business owners, and nonprofit executives. She consistently helps them achieve their goals and surpass what they thought was possible. Typical discussion topics include employee engagement and motivation, stakeholder mapping and managing, executive presence, resolving unproductive conflict, strengthening relationships, shifting mindsets, and loneliness in leadership. She helps them uncover their wants and motivates them to pursue those aspirations.
She leverages her naturally optimistic disposition to help her clients feel comfortable. As a thought partner, she will ask you powerful questions to help you identify the mindsets and behaviors that are helping you and those holding you back. She recognizes you will have the best answers and ideas for your situations. Her goal is to help you think comprehensively so you can have peace of mind when you take action. Then, she will help you plan, practice, and polish how you move forward.
Before founding TenStone Solutions LLC, she co-founded Gratitude Starters, which took an idea and made it a tangible product (manufacturing, shipping, delivery, sales, and overall brand building) and recently sold the company.
She is also a dedicated member of the community. She has served non-profits, ranging from being on the Board of Directors for the Denver Metro YMCA to volunteering as a partner athlete with DDCR. She currently chairs the state of Colorado in the Governor-appointed role on the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.
